The electronic holding place for instructions and data that your computer's microprocessor can reach quickly. When your computer is in normal operation, its memory usually contains the main parts of the operating system and some or all of the application programs and related data that are being used.

MMORPG:

Massively multiplayer online role playing game.

Mob:

Mobile, monster operated by the server.

Mod:

Short for "Modification." It's a plugin for a game that changes a few things, or even the entire game. Mods can do anything from replace weapons with new ones, change the rules of a game, or change everything about the game.

MUD:

Multi User Dungeon: text based, role playing games which are played over a telnet connection.

Multiplayer:

Playing a PC/Mac/Console game with other humans. This could be done on the same system or over a network (like a LAN or the Internet).
