DESCRIPTION OF NETHERLAND

Many of the Ancients of Netherland recall the turmoil that followed the Great Wars of the Order and the Chaos. After the near complete destruction of the world by a comet conjured by the forces of Chaos, which abruptly transformed the war for domination into a fierce fight for survival, countless creatures and gods alike perishing.

Slowly civilisation began to rise again. Without the guidance from their gods, however, the struggle was hard. Ancient magics were thought hopelessly lost, crafts forever forgotten. It seemed as if the sentient races were completely swamped. Meanwhile, the chaotic forces of Nature were progressing, swallowing lost cities and claiming most of the world to the Chaos. It seemed as if, in this aftermath of the Great Wars, the Chaos was finally going to win.

CreationA cast of immortal beings unheard of before saw those things, and finally took interest in the future of the land. Making themselves known as the Scholars, they swiftly cast away the degenerated remnants of the former gods, responsible for the Great Wars and what followed. Encouraging innovation and research everywhere, and the spread of civilisation, they brought renew and life to the lands.
