DESCRIPTION OF CYBER FOOTY
As the manager of one of sixty-four Super League soccer teams, it will be your job to lead your team to the division title and bring home the CyberFooty Cup. If things go badly you may have to fight to avoid relegation. To be successful you will need to strategically train your players and creatively select your squad according to your opponents strengths and weaknesses. CyberFooty is simple to play, but challenging to master. It can take a couple of minutes every other day or as many hours a week as you can spare. It's your choice.</p
The key tasks for you as a manager will be to train your players between games, select a squad, subs and strategy for each match, and give them a final few words before kick-off. After each game you will be asked for comments about the match which will be posted for other managers to read. You will also be able to post general comments in the weekly Soccer Post. After each game you will have the opportunity to analyse the match play-by-play, review statistics, and view all upcoming fixtures and previous results.
Games are won and lost during the training sessions. After each game you select which skill each player will work to improve. By balancing different skill strengths across your team you will be able to field an optimal team to compete with your opponent's strengths and weaknesses. Don't worry if you are unable to log in to train your team. You can either select vacation mode and have the players trained in your absence or a multiplier will be applied the next time you are able to train. However, when the multiplier is in effect, players susceptibility to injury during training is also multiplied.
After the week's results are in you will be able to review your match on a play-by-play basis. You can review every pass, tackle, foul, throw, corner, free kick, penalty and goal. By reviewing each game you will have a better idea of what changes to make to improve your performance in the future. Studying each game can also give you the knowledge to make the necessary changes to your team to take on and beat the league's high flyers.
