WAR OF EMPIRES is a free multiplayer online game in which members attack each other towards the goal of world domination. In this game, any visitor can register for free and start playing right away as any of 6 races (Human, Dwarf, Elf, Orc, Gnoll, or Troll). You start building your own medieval empire as a warrior-less peasant with only a tent for protection, and fight your way through the top of the ranks.

The game is filled with interesting strategies. You can decide to concentrate on spying so that you defeat your opponents by stealth. You can decide to follow a military path and build up your army with horsemen, footmen, or archers. Or you can decide on a defensive path and concentrate on building siege weapons and fortifications. As your empire grows, you train your peasants to be productive workers to supply you with more troops, armour, weapons, and buildings.

Finally, War of Empires is designed as a team game. Although you can play alone, you can band together with your friends and form a clan which then you will have to lead to victory.
