DESCRIPTION OF HAMWARS

Hamwars is an MMO RTS allowing players to compete against each other in a massive generated universe

The game supports both small games on a short time scale with a handful of players (in the vein of traditional board games) and massive games with hundreds of players on a more persistant basis.

The RTS aspect involves managing and developing your civilization. Colonising planets, developing technologies, gathering resources, keeping your population happy.

Each time a Hamwars server instance is created a unique universe is generated. This universe containes many thousands of individual stars, planets and moons.

Planets and moons all have the capability of supporting unique, dynamic atmospheres and resources, including animals, mineral and vegetation

The universe also contains other objects and anomalies, asteroid belts, comets and blackholes.
