A long time ago, the gods fought in a long strenuous war against one another. After many years, they all slowly began to die.
Their strengths matched one another�s strengths; their weaknesses matched one another�s weaknesses.
As one would assume, the gods that men had grown to love eventually were gone from this world and the next. Because of this, the creatures upon this earth where left with no god to worship.
Faithless and lusting for destruction, they turned to war. A war that consumed the land and all its inhabitants for centuries.
However, the Warriors who returned from this combat, held in their sword arm a strength beyond the gods of old and became dubbed with the name �Avatar�.
Because Avatars are held in such a high esteem, they are worshipped wherever they go.
Every race has their own Avatars and many warriors still aspire to be one themselves...
