The Real Cash Economy (RCE) in the Entropia Universe means that the virtual items inside the Universe have a real value.

Real world currencies may be transferred into your secure Entropia Universe account where they are then exchanged into PED (The Entropia Universe Currency). The PED currency is directly connected to the real world economy through a fixed exchange rate with the US dollar, where 10 PED = 1US$.
