DESCRIPTION OF SUPREMACY 1914
Supremacy 1914 puts you back in time into a Europe similar to that almost 100 years ago.Industrialisation overthrew the traditional order of societies everywhere. It forged new powerful nations and put others on the verge of destruction. Obsolete aristocrats have to fear for their power whilst ambitious new statesmen, striving for gaining influence over their country's faith, emerge from the out-dated structures of the grand houses of sovereignty.
Those nations which want to prevail in this new era have to prove their superiority and their ultimate will to power. After a number of regional conflicts, 16 equally large nations have prevailed.
16 nations... Some of them ruled by diplomatically skilled, deliberate leaders, some of them by reckless, brave men that do not wince at putting their own countries at the edge of war or even further...
All of them share one destiny: Their lack of territory that would provide those resources crucial for satisfying the needs of growing populations and for reaching for the promising fruits of industrialisation.
You and up to 12 comrades can take your places being these dauntless leaders, ruling prestigious dynasties, reaching for control over Europe, fulfilling the dreams of your fellow countrymen and to approve the confidence they put into you.
But beware before you give into your hunger for power and the ultimate control over Europe, before you try to take the continent's destiny into your very own hands. Because your adversaries will as well focus on following the one and only target:
