Backstory:
Humanity is perched upon the edge of a fantastic new discovery! Scientists have perfected a new kind of interstellar transport device, capable of moving large fleets of ships instantly from your world to any of a handful of other worlds orbiting distant stars. And from any of these other worlds, you can transport to a handful of more, still further, worlds.

In fact, there appears be an entire galaxy of interconnected worlds suddenly available to you!

Concept:
You begin the game with just one world and must explore and expand to discover the other worlds and players. As the game progresses, your knowledge of the galaxy, and of the movements of the other players in the game will build up tremendously.
