Arena: Sword of Freedom is a very basic, home-grown, online gladiatorial combat game. Players own gladiatorial houses in the Roman Empire, buying and training gladiators who compete to win their owners glory and honour. The game is "asynchronous" - meaning orders are entered in advance of a deadline, at which the GM runs the game. Players have no control over their gladiator in the fights themselves: once you send your myrmillo to the ring, it's up to him. Your only hope is to train him well, and give him orders he can follow.
